The True Gospel
Scripture Reading: Galatians 1:6-9 (KJV)
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Devotional:
Paul's admonition to the Galatians serves as a stern warning for us today, highlighting the importance of discerning the true gospel from false teachings. The true gospel is the good news that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. It is not laced with works or human merit but stands solely on Christ’s finished work on Calvary.

Reflection:
Reflect on the core message of the gospel. Are there influences in your life that attempt to add to this message or take away from its purity? How can you deepen your understanding of the gospel as defined in the scriptures?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the true gospel of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to stand firm in this truth and discern any false teachings that may come my way. Strengthen my faith and understanding of Your Word. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Action:
Study Galatians 1 in its entirety and note any differences you find between the pure gospel Paul preached and the one that was being distorted.
