Scripture Reading – Romans 8:14 (KJV)
“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

Devotional
Many people say, “We are all God’s children.” The Bible is clear: we are all God’s creation, but only those who are led by the Spirit of God are His children. Sonship is not automatic; it comes through salvation in Jesus Christ.

The moment you were saved, the Holy Spirit came to live in you. That “small, still voice” that convicts you, corrects you, comforts you, and calls you closer—that is not your conscience alone; that is God Himself dwelling in you.

Being “led by the Spirit” is not just about feeling something; it’s about willingly following the Spirit’s direction. He leads you away from sin and toward holiness, away from fear and toward faith, away from self and toward Christ. His leading is proof that you belong to the royal family of God.

You don’t wander this life as a spiritual orphan. You are a son or daughter of the King, guided from the inside by His own Spirit.

Reflection
Think of a recent time when you sensed the Spirit warning you, correcting you, or comforting you. Did you follow His leading or ignore it? What does that reveal about your heart right now?

Prayer
Father, thank You for sending the Holy Spirit to live in me.
Forgive me for the times I have resisted or ignored His leading.
Teach me to recognize His voice more clearly and to obey more quickly.
Let my life show that I am truly Your child, led by Your Spirit and not by my flesh.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action
Today, pause three times (morning, midday, evening) and deliberately ask: “Holy Spirit, is there anything You want to show me, change in me, or lead me to do right now?” Be still for a minute each time and write down any conviction or prompting you sense—and then obey what aligns with Scripture.
