**Scripture Reading**: Genesis 1:1-3 (KJV)
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."

From the very beginning, God displays His power and creativity. The universe, with its complexity and beauty, is a testament to God's eternal existence and His role as the ultimate Creator. God was not made; He always existed. As we journey through these initial verses of Genesis, we marvel at this omnipotent God who created all things through His spoken word.

Reflect on the eternal nature of God. How does understanding that God has no beginning or end affect your trust in Him and His plans for your life?
