Devotional
A common religious lie says, “God can only use spiritually strong people.” But the Bible shows us something different. God uses surrendered people.
Peter was bold, but he also denied Christ. Moses made excuses. Gideon was afraid. David failed morally. Paul had a painful thorn in the flesh. Yet God used them.
Your weakness does not disqualify you from serving God. Your unwillingness does.
God is not looking for people who can boast in themselves. He is looking for vessels willing to be cleansed, filled, and used. A weak person surrendered to God is far more useful than a strong person full of pride.
This does not excuse sin or spiritual laziness. We should desire to grow, mature, and live holy lives. But we must not believe the lie that past failure or present weakness makes us useless to God. His strength is made perfect in weakness.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

- Have you avoided serving God because you feel unqualified?
- Is your focus more on your weakness or God’s strength?
- Are you willing to let God use you as you grow?
Prayer
Lord, I confess my weakness, but I trust Your strength. Make me a clean and willing vessel. Use my life to shine Your light so others may glorify You. Help me stop making excuses and start walking in obedience. Amen.
Action
Take one step of service this week: encourage someone, pray with someone, share your testimony, volunteer, or invite someone to church. Do not wait until you feel strong—depend on God’s strength.
